Once upon a time SEO, or Search Engine Optimization, was simply a matter of making one’s website appear in the first few page of Google. And the biggest challenges were getting around search engine filters like Google’s PageRank. Having a high Google Page rank is still an ongoing goal, but it’s hardly the only factor in getting your page seen. As with everything on the internet, change is the only constant.

• Tweet it-Improvements on your page? Innovations in the services you offer? Contest? Tell the world about. Get a Twitter following and tweet often.
• Try an Ad Exchange- No negotiating, price and site transparency, and flexibility make this relatively new channel worth exploring.
• Build your Brand- Build trust, links, and authority with a Home Page.
• Test, Test, Test- Document your website changes and follow how they effect your traffic, sales and competitors.
